Volunteering

Christian Neighbors relies on its many volunteers from around the community. Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization; they make a difference in the lives of those who need our services. Read below to learn about the process to become a volunteer and the various types of volunteers needed.

Volunteering

The Volunteering Process

  • Complete the electronic Volunteer Application below and submit.

  • Meet with our Volunteer Manager to review interests, complete required paperwork, and take a brief tour.

  • Complete a background check and annual Civil Rights training.

  • Once approved, you will be contacted by the program supervisor for introductions and training.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Without the 80+ volunteers, we would be unable to provide the ministry we do to our community of neighbors in need.

Christian Neighbors is also able to assist with providing tasks for individuals needing Community Service, workgroups, scouts, and church mission teams.

Special Events

Throughout the year, Christian Neighbors coordinates several large fundraising events, including our Annual Reflection of Hope Dinner and Auction, PATH Walk, and Soup Suppers. All events need volunteers to help plan, setup, pick up item donations, work the event, and clean-up.
